Méribel-Mottaret – Côte Brune Gondola.

The Côte Brune chairlift, Yep those that know Meribel well all know that this chairlift was nearly always super Cold so this new Gondola is a great improvement. It links Méribel with Val Thorens, and Les Ménuires, Its being replaced with 50 modern cabins each able to carry 10 people.  Its capacity will increase from 2,200 to 2,600 passengers per hour, this will reduce queue times while offering a faster, warmer and more comfortable journey.

Courchevel 1850 – Chenus Gondola.

Finally they are getting rid of the old Bubble.  This lift heads towards the runs down to Le Praz and La Tania and also stage one of two lifts that get you back to Meribel via the Loze peak. Similar lift to what they are building in Meribel with the ability to carry 2,400 passengers per hour. The new base station positioned directly in front of the ‘La Croisette’ building in Courchevel 1850, the upgrade will significantly improve both accessibility and efficiency. The old Coqs chairlift is now not needed so has been pulled out, just means you have to ski a bit further down to 1850 to catch the new Gondola.

La Plagne – Roche de Mio Gondola

A new state-of-the-art gondola will link Plagne Bellecôte to Roche de Mio via the Col de Forcle, with a capacity of up to 3,140 passengers per hour. This upgrade will greatly improve the flow of skiers across the area, reducing wait times and enhancing overall accessibility.

Les Arcs – Plan des Violettes Gondola

Replacing the 45 year old Replat and Plan des Violettes chairlifts, a high-speed 40-cabin gondola  each carrying 10 people will connect Villaroger(1,200 m) to the summit of Plan des Violettes (2,119 m) in just 6 minutes and 45 seconds—nearly 10 minutes faster than before. The enhanced link will offer both speed and comfort. This new lift will make the skiing down the tree lined runs  into Villaroger far more appealing, knowing that a modern lift can take you back up in under 7 minutes.

Zermatt – Gifthittli 8 seater hooded chair lift.

As the central transport link between the Sunnegga-Rothorn and Gornergrat areas, it offers guests not only a wide variety of slopes but also a high degree of flexibility between the ski areas.

Verbier – Savoleyres Gondola

Replacing the old Cable car this new lift is in two parts, 10 person gondola ready for season 25/26 and then the second phase replacing the Sud ski lift with a modern 6 seater. People starting at the bottom will by season 26/27 be able to go to the top of where the Sud lift ended and people skiing down to where the Sud used to start will by season 26/27 be able to hop on the new 6 seater lift. From the mid station to the top the gondola and chair lifts will alternate. Quite cool really.
