Resort Overview

Alpe d’Huez (1860m) offers two main resort bases. The central village is the lively heart of the resort, packed with accommodation options, vibrant bars, and top-notch restaurants serving traditional French cuisine. For a more laid-back vibe, Les Bergers has its own hub and offers great-value self-catering stays. Alp d’huez has a good apres scene, but if you are after more to do than dance on tables then there is an  ice rink and also in the Palais des sports there’s an outdoor swimming pool .

Skiing

Alpe d’Huez forms part of a large interconnected ski area which combines the resorts of Alpe d’Huez, Auris-en-Oisans, Oz, Vaujany and Villard Reculas into one giant, heavenly playground.

A top pick for a winter getaway, with its broad range of slopes, serviced by a very modern lift system. Its a really good height at 1860 metres so as snow sure as it gets and goes up to 3320 metres,  From first-timers to seasoned pros, there’s terrain for every ability. Well-planned resort layout, fast lift connections, and excellent facilities make for a smooth and enjoyable ski holiday.
